## What you send us.

The inquiry form collects your name, email address, message and selected service. You can also provide a phone number and a business name or website. We use these details to respond to your inquiry. The audit form collects a domain and email address. We also record the submission time.

We use this information to respond, assess the requested work and, for an audit, prepare and deliver the report. Please provide only information needed for your request. Submitting an inquiry or audit form does not subscribe you to marketing.

## Where the information goes.

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes form requests. Resend sends the submission to our studio inbox, where we handle the conversation. Public pages from a submitted website may be checked to prepare a requested accessibility report.

We do not deliberately write form contents to application logs. Hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps and delivery events for operation, security and abuse prevention. Providers may process information outside India.

See [Cloudflare’s privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/) and [Resend’s privacy policy](https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy) for their practices.

## New guides by email.

The journal sign-up form collects your email address and your consent to receive new guides. We add the address to our contact list at Resend, which also sends those emails. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove the address at any time. Inquiry and audit forms do not add you to this list.

## Cookies, fonts and external links.

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies, run visitor analytics, or use session recording. Our interactive examples run in your browser and do not send your entries to us or save them after you leave the page.

Fonts load from Google Fonts. These stylesheet and font requests reveal technical information, including your IP address, to Google. We do not embed third-party chat, booking or payment scripts. The WhatsApp, phone, social media and “Ask AI” links open other providers’ services; when you follow one, that provider’s privacy terms apply. The AI links only carry a prepared question about 1968 Labs, and nothing about you.

## How long we keep it.

Our retention policy is to delete free-audit requests, associated reports and inquiries that do not become projects within 180 days of the last contact. If you become a client, relevant correspondence becomes part of the project record; the agreement explains retention for that work and any required accounting records.

Provider delivery logs and backup copies follow the providers’ applicable retention schedules. A deletion request covers the information we control; we will explain any records we must retain and why.

## Your choices and privacy requests.

You can ask to access or correct information, request deletion, withdraw a request, or raise a privacy concern by emailing [hello@1968labs.com](mailto:hello@1968labs.com) or through our [privacy contact form](https://1968labs.com/contact?need=privacy) . It reaches Surajmal Ventures LLP, the operator responsible for this site. Use the email address associated with your original request so we can respond and verify it where needed.

We use submitted information to handle the request you chose to make. You can stop further handling by contacting us, subject to information we must retain for an existing agreement or applicable law. You may also raise a concern with the competent data-protection authority where applicable.
