## Check the difficult cases.

Switch the washer to HS-W08-S: three packs become 150 pieces because that variant has 50 pieces per pack. Adding the same variant twice prompts you to combine the quantity. Removing all items prevents an empty brief.

Begin with an approved catalog record. HS-W08-Z is a fictional zinc-finish M8 washer sold in packs of 100. Keep its part number and variant visible as the buyer chooses three packs. Add two boxes of HS-B08-25-Z, with 50 pieces in each box. The example sales brief retains both references: 300 washer pieces and 100 bolt pieces. Delivery ZIP code 60607 and a requested date travel with the request. A real salesperson still confirms the specification, price, stock and timing. This is a simulated handoff, not a submitted order.
