Illustrative multi-item enquiry

## The same pack quantity can mean different totals.

Sales starts with the parts and delivery details already together. Follow-up can focus on unresolved specifications or timing instead of rebuilding the customer's shopping list from emails.

What your customer provides

### Choose the parts. Review the list.

Carry the chosen references and variants from the catalogue into a request list. Label quantities as packs, individual items or another approved selling unit. Collect the full delivery address, postcode, required date and access notes; a postcode alone is not a complete shipping instruction. Let buyers edit the list before sending.

**Line 1**: HS-W08-Z · Zinc finish · 3 packs

**Line 2**: HS-W08-S · Stainless finish · 3 packs

**Selling units shown**: Zinc: 100 pieces/pack · Stainless: 50 pieces/pack

**Delivery**: UK · Manchester M1 1AE · full address supplied

**Timing and access**: Required date supplied · goods-in access notes

**Contact**: Purchasing contact and reply email

What your team receives

### Every line ready for sales review.

An enquiry with separate product lines, the quantity and unit for each, and one delivery brief. Preserve the specifications the buyer selected and use approved pack sizes for any piece totals. If a measurement is needed, retain its stated unit; do not silently convert an uncertain size or assume an equivalent product.

**Requested lines**: HS-W08-Z: 3 packs / 300 pieces; HS-W08-S: 3 packs / 150 pieces

**Delivery brief**: Address, postcode, required date and goods-in instructions

**Contact**: Purchasing contact and original enquiry

**Next action**: Review both variants and delivery, then prepare the quotation

Work with us

## What we would build.

A quote for your scope.

For a focused form build or improvement to an existing website. We review your site and agree the work before quoting.

50% at start, 50% on completion.

[How we work](https://1968labs.com/method)

- Map approved catalogue references, variants and selling units into the enquiry.
- Build a multi-line list with edit, remove and customer review steps.
- Collect contact, address, postcode and timing details with clear validation.
- Test the agreed inbox handover, failure recovery, mobile use and keyboard controls.

An RFQ does not place an order. Your team confirms specifications, availability, price and delivery; compatibility and substitution decisions remain with the responsible team.

## Plan the right starting point.

### A focused improvement

We quote this form work in writing after reviewing your website, catalogue records and receiving process. A full catalogue website is a separate service. Your proposal sets the scope, currency and costs before work starts.

### Scope connections separately

Live stock, account pricing and ERP or CRM connections need an agreed scope. Drawings and other uploads need agreed storage, access and retention. Existing platform features may already cover some of the journey, so we check those first.

## Before you decide.

**Why use a multi-item RFQ instead of a contact form?**

Each part retains its own reference, variant and quantity in a labelled selling unit. The customer can review the complete list, while your team receives something it can check line by line.

**Can the catalogue show metric and imperial sizes?**

Yes, when both values come from approved records. Keep the unit with the value. Similar dimensions or a converted measurement do not establish that two parts are interchangeable.

**What do you need for a proposal?**

Send your catalogue URL, sample approved records with pack sizes and units, a redacted enquiry and the intended receiving inbox or system. Tell us which details sales always has to ask for, so the form addresses the actual gap.
