Illustrative custom spring enquiry

A custom requirement becomes a clear quotation brief.

Give sales a clear starting point for review. The supplied details stay together, so the first reply can focus on missing specifications or the next step rather than reconstructing the request.

What your customer provides

A reference and the quantities to quote.

The buyer chooses a catalogue part or custom enquiry, adds the available reference and tells you which quantities to quote. Measurements keep their stated units; a buyer with a sample but no drawing has a clear route to ask for help.

What your team receives

A brief linked to the right revision.

A single brief linking the drawing revision, quantity breaks, delivery postcode and requested timing. If a drawing or sample follows separately, the buyer has a reference your team can use to connect it with the original enquiry.

What we would build.

From $4,500 USD

Starting website package. Your written proposal confirms pages, content, currency and timeline.

50% at start, 50% on completion.

How we work
  • Up to eight agreed pages covering capabilities, supplied product information and the enquiry journey.
  • Custom desktop and mobile design with clear navigation for catalogue parts and custom enquiries.
  • An enquiry form with agreed reference, quantity and postcode fields, tested delivery and error handling.
  • Page titles, descriptions, sitemap, recorded accessibility and performance checks, source files and editing guidance.

The starting website package excludes engineering approval, automatic spring selection, drawing uploads and ERP connections. File handling and custom integrations need a separate written scope. Your team confirms specifications, price and timing.

Plan the right starting point.

Show what you actually make

Supply your approved capabilities, product families, material information and photos. Separate stock products from made-to-order work, and identify which records a staff member can keep current after handover.

Keep measurements traceable

Use the units in your approved catalogue or the buyer’s drawing. Publish metric and imperial values together only where verified. Agree how revisions, drawings or samples will reach the responsible person.

Before you decide.

Should our website lead with stock or bespoke springs?

Lead with the route that reflects your business. A stock range needs maintainable part references; bespoke work needs capabilities and a clear enquiry. If you offer both, let the buyer choose early so the form asks relevant questions.

What if a buyer has a sample but no drawing?

Offer an enquiry that says what they have, what they know and whether they need identification help. Allow unknown measurements. Sales can explain the sample or document process in its reply without requiring the buyer to invent a specification.

Do UK buyers need every measurement in millimetres?

Use the units actually supplied, rather than assuming. Label each measurement and preserve the drawing’s stated system. A converted dimension should be published only after verification; rounding a value does not establish an equivalent spring.
